Women Inspiring Women
My name is Tonya Maness. I worked as a Social Worker for 20+ years. I still work with hospice as needed, but I am now a financial advisor. I made the move to help individuals and families prepare for retirement and healthcare needs that may come with aging. I feel that this is a need that many failt to plan for until the time is near, myself included. Throughout my years of working with and beside women, I have learned that we all need a place to go for help, support, and knowledge that we are not alone in our struggles. My hopes is that this page will give you the support that you need. I am an author that has recently published a book. Check out my book below.
"You don't have to be the woman that turns heads when you walk into a room.
Be the woman people run to for support and a smile.
Be the reason they are happy they walked into that room"

Caring For You as the Memories Fade Away.
About the book
Caring for You as the Memories Fade Away revolves around the life experiences of people who have their loved ones struggling with dementia and other cognitive deficits. The author is a social worker and caregiver who fictionalizes different characteristics of a person that struggles particularly with dementia. She advises caregivers and loved ones about how to handle everyday situations providing stories of struggles she has had throughout her own life.
"This book, authored by a social worker with experience with dementia care partnering, offers a collection of sage wisdom for those currently on their journey as a care partner. Her advice, delivered in a kind, easy-to-read voice, is a helpful tool for those supporting individuals living with dementia."
